Zephyra, Fairy in a Jar

In the heart of a misty forest where moonlight filters like silver rain through the canopy, there exists a jar unlike any other—a delicate glass vessel cradled in vines and moss, its lid adorned with hand-sculpted mushrooms and tiny gemstone moons that shimmer under starlight.
Inside this enchanted jar lives a Ruby Zoisite fairy named Zephyra.
She is pure magic.
Her skin gleams with the deep greens and rosy swirls of her namesake stone, as if the forest and fire lived within her. Iridescent wings, like sunlit dragonfly glass, flicker with every color of the dawn. Zephyra glows softly even in the darkest hours, a pulse of ancient power in miniature form.
The jar is no prison of cruelty, but a sacred vessel—a protective charm crafted by a forgotten forest witch who feared the fairy’s raw magic might tear the world at its seams if left unchecked. So Zephyra slumbers among curls of real moss and tiny, vibrant mushrooms that sprouted from the earth’s own dreams. The gemstone moons above her head shimmer in shifting phases, pulsing with her breath, whispering lullabies that keep her quiet and calm.
But sometimes, when the forest is still, the glass warms. A glow rises. Her wings twitch. Magic stirs.
And if you’re lucky—or unlucky enough to be near—you might hear the faintest chime, like a thousand tiny bells hidden in dew. That’s the sound of Zephyra dreaming… or waking.
